UI/UX Principles 📑
During the design process, I focused on creating a clean and minimalistic interface that prioritizes user experience. The website follows these UI/UX principles:
Simplicity/Theming/Responsiveness
Keyboard Navigation/Performance
Typography 📐
This site uses four font types for distinct elements:
- Serif: Quotes & footnotes (New York for macOS, fallback for others)
- Sans Serif: Primary for titles & body text
- Handwriting: Components which require special attention (e.g., archives), defaults to Bradley Hand on macOS
- Monospace: Code snippets (Recursive Mono local → Maple Mono web font fallback)
